Program Overview

Located just outside Paris near Versailles, HEC Paris is the most prestigious business program in the long-established French system of "Grandes Écoles" and is arguably the best in Europe. HEC maintains a comprehensive business curriculum and close links to the international business world, and the location offers students a suburban campus environment with access to nearby Paris.

Application Process

Students must attend the McIntire information session and complete the online Education Abroad Workshop on this site. Students should then complete the online "UVA Commerce: Semester Abroad" application on this site.

Applications are due by noon on the deadline date. Once admission is approved, students will be required to complete a program-specific application packet and attend several orientation sessions later in the semester.

Additional Information

This program is an exchange program, with tuition being paid to UVA.

When studying abroad all UVA students are required to have both basic international health coverage and emergency assistance coverage through the UVA-sponsored plan with CISI. See the Insurance page on this website for more information about requirements.
