If you do not hold a US passport, meet with your International Student and Scholar (ISSP) Advisor to discuss your plans, and begin researching visa requirements for your host country immediately.

For most programs, if you do not have a current valid passport or will not have one by the application deadline, your application will be considered if all other requirements are complete.

Do you need to make an edit or correction to part of your application that you’ve already submitted? Contact your Education Abroad Advisor for assistance to edit it again (as long as the application deadline has not passed). DO NOT withdraw your application and start the same one again.

Most travelers to the UK (including U.S. citizens) are required to obtain a UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) or UK Visa in advance of travel. In some cases, a visa or UK ETA is required for transit through the UK as well. Check if you need an ETA or visa to travel to or transit through the UK.
