Program Description:

Welcome to the UCL Study Abroad Guide.

UCL Portico
UCL has for more than 40 years welcomed students from colleges and universities overseas who wish to gain credit for courses taken at UCL in order to graduate from their own home universities. Primarily such students come from North America, Europe and Japan.

The majority of these students study with us in their junior year although a small number elect to come as seniors. Although study abroad students follow a similar programme of study to UK students they are officially known as "affiliate" students as they do not receive their degree from us, but remain registered as degree students of their home institutions. UCL currently admits over 800 study abroad students each year. We hope you enjoy browsing these pages and that you decide to come and study at UCL - one of the most prestigious universities in the world.
