Program Overview

The University of Auckland is one of the premier universities in New Zealand, and its business school is known for excellence in research, innovation, and partnership with enterprise. Auckland is a welcoming city surrounded by natural beauty, with a diverse cultural mix influenced by the indigenous Maori people.

Application Process

Students must attend the McIntire information session and complete the online Education Abroad Workshop on this site. Students should then complete the online "UVA Commerce: Semester Abroad" application on this site.

Applications are due by noon on the deadline date. Once admission is approved, students will be required to complete an Auckland application packet and attend several orientation sessions later in the semester.

Additional Information

This program is an exchange program, with tuition being paid to UVA. When studying abroad all UVA students are required to have both basic international health coverage and emergency assistance coverage through the UVA-sponsored plan with CISI.
