In keeping with the University of Virginia's goal to increase the number of its students studying abroad, McIntire Student Services and McIntire faculty strongly encourage students to plan an international study experience.
Semester Abroad Programs
Third-year McIntire students may study abroad during their spring semester and fourth-year McIntire students may study abroad during their fall semester and still complete the Integrated Core Curriculum (ICE) requirements, thanks to a partnership between McIntire and abroad institutions, in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain (2 programs), Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
The Core program curriculum is designed to provide the essentials of the courses students take on Grounds during the semester so that they keep apace while enriching their total McIntire and University educational experience.
All partner institutions have high academic standards and courses that meet the needs of McIntire students.
