Program Description:
The Education Abroad Scholarship Application is now open for 2026 terms (Spring Semester, Summer, Fall Semester, Year).

Please note that students applying to January Term programs are NOT eligible to be considered for the ISO-Administered Scholarships. Instead, students should review details about the January Term Grant offered through SFS. 

UVA students are invited to complete this application for consideration for the following scholarships. Follow the links below to review the eligibility criteria for each award. You do not need to designate which awards you wish to be considered for in the application; you will be considered for any for which you are qualified.

Most awards require or prioritize financial need. Additional variables considered can include first gen status, and whether the applicant has previously participated in an education abroad program as a UVA student (with preference given to those who have not), in addition to the eligibility requirements outlined in each scholarship listed below.

Graduate students - note that awards available to graduate students are limited. Those scholarships open to graduate students are noted below.
