Program Overview

Fundacão Getulio Vargas, located in São Paulo, Brazil, is a world-renowned education center with one of the oldest and most prestigious undergraduate business programs in Latin America dedicated to promoting economic and social development in the region. São Paulo is Brazil's financial center, the largest Portuguese-speaking city in the world, and known in the Americas as a modern business hub with a dynamic youth culture.

Application Process

Students must attend the McIntire information session and complete the online Education Abroad Workshop on this site. Students should then complete the online "UVA Commerce: Semester Abroad" application on this site.

Applications are due by noon on the deadline date. Once admission is approved, students will be required to complete a program-specific application packet and attend several orientation sessions later in the semester.

Additional Information

This program is an exchange program, with tuition being paid to UVA. All UVA students are required to have both basic international health coverage and emergency assistance coverage when studying abroad. See the Insurance page on the ISO website for more information about requirements.
